Our energetic and talented food service staff is led by a Registered Dietitian, and a Food Service Director, who is a Certified Dietary Manager. Staff members are shown here with hot, fresh food ready for service. At each meal, residents receive a choice of menu items selected to ensure variety and good nutrition. Foods are prepared on-site with fresh ingredients. Residents receive invidualized attention and support for their dietary needs and preferences. Family members and friends may dine with us by ordering a guest meal, call 612-879-2945. Our kitchen is also the meal preparation site for the Loring/Nicollet Meals on Wheels program. Each weekday, about 90 meals are prepared and delivered to the home-bound in the neighborhood by volunteers from six downtown churches and staff volunteers at the facility. We value and support this partnership to serve the community and those in need. *The food service department operates under a contract between Benedictine Health Center of Minneapolis and A'viands. |
